Competition Terms + Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Palette Prescription ("Palette Prescription"). This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok or Instagram.

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.

  • Entrants must have access to TikTok or Instagram and a valid email address.

  • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

  • This competition is open internationally. All services will be delivered virtually.

3. Competition Period

  • The competition opens at 9:00am ACST on 1 January.

  • The competition closes at 11:59pm ACST on 7 January.

  • Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

TikTok Entry (5 winners):

  • Like the competition post.

  • Follow @marinatingmari on TikTok.

  • Comment on the competition post stating which colour season you think you are.

Instagram Entry (5 winners):

  • Like the competition post and comment stating which colour season you think you are.

  • Follow @paletteprescription on Instagram.

  • Share the competition post to your Instagram Stories and tag @paletteprescription.

Limit of one entry per person, per platform.

5. Prize Details

  • Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) complimentary virtual colour analysis session ("Palette Prescription") valued at $149AUD.

  • The prize includes a personalised digital colour palette document.

  • The prize does not include wardrobe editing, shopping services, or any additional add-ons unless stated.

  • The prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected at random using a random generator.

  • Five (5) winners will be selected from TikTok entries and five (5) winners from Instagram entries.

  • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification

  • Winners will be announced on Palette Prescription’s Instagram Stories, and via an announcement post on TikTok.

  • Winners will also be contacted via direct message on TikTok or Instagram.

  • Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim their prize.

  • If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, Palette Prescription reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

8. Prize Conditions + Content Usage

  • By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in the virtual colour analysis.

  • Winners consent to the Promoter recording, capturing screenshots, or using images from the session for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes across digital platforms, including social media and the Promoter’s website.

  • Winners may be required to have their face visible for content creation purposes.

  • Content may include before-and-after visuals, colour analysis results, testimonials, or reactions.

9. Privacy

  • Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and delivering the prize.

  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. Liability

  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, network failures, or platform outages that may affect entry.

  • To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for loss or damage arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

11. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances arise beyond their control.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms + Conditions.
